While raising money is always necessary, there are many ways you can help Seniors for Pets. We have supporters from all over the United States who look for unique ways to contribute.
- Office supplies. With any organization, there is an ongoing need for computer copy paper and printer cartridges. Seniors for Pets uses an HP Office Jet 6100 printer with individual inks – cartridge # 932 and #933. Gift cards to office supply retailers, such as Staples or Office Depot, would also be welcome.
- Pet gift basket items. We always need unique items for our gift baskets for dogs and cats and their “people.” Are you crafty? Photo frames or coasters that hold pet photos decorated with dogs or cats, small cat toys, Nylabone products (new, in package) are needed.
- Small dog/cat beds. Do you sew? At events, we sell cat (or small dog) beds or cushions. Perhaps you have ideas of your own to share with us. Use our CONTACT US button to do so.
Whatever your talents, you can find a fit with our organization. Join our Facebook page and communicate with other volunteers. Get to know us.
One of our Texas supporters bought a beautiful large, ceramic bowl decorated with gold trim and shaped to look like a large cat feeding dish. It is quite an elegant piece! She sent it to Seniors for Pets to use at one of our fundraising events. This gorgeous bowl will either be sold or raffled off to raise funds for our organization.
Think about your own abilities and how you could use them to raise funds for a charitable organization that gives 100% of its donations to help needy senior citizens in SW Florida pay for necessary basic veterinary care for their pets.
